Exit airport and turn right, westbound on N.E. 39th Ave. (State Rd. 222). Proceed approximately 4 miles to the intersection of N.W. 39th Ave. and N.W. 13th St. (US 441). Proceed south (TURN LEFT) for approximately 4 miles to the intersection of N.W. 13th Ave. and University Ave. (State Rd. 26). When you cross this intersection, N.W. 13th will then become S.W. 13th Ave. Proceed south for approximately 0.1 miles to the intersection of SW 13th Avenue and Union Road (first light). Use the airport's north exit and continue on Airport Blvd./S. Semoran Blvd. for 1.0 mile. Follow the airport signs to take State Road 528-Toll West (Beeline Expressway) and proceed for 6.6 miles (toll roads - expect $4.00 in fees for trip). Take the Florida Turnpike North exit. Follow the Turnpike until it ends, about 50 miles, and merges onto I-75 North. Follow I-75 North until you reach Gainesville's Newberry Road Exit (Exit 387) and go east/right on Newberry Road for 5-6 miles. Newberry Road becomes University Avenue while nearing campus. Turn right at 13th Street and make your first right on Union Street. (Note: You are now on the University of Florida campus which has a maximum speed limit of 20mph.) Exit the airport via Yankee Clipper Drive/Yankee Clipper Road. Bare left to exit the airport, and turn right onto Pecan Park Road. After 1.0 mile, turn right onto Terrell Road. After 2.0 miles, turn left onto Lem Turner Road. About 1.4 miles down Lem Turner, follow the I-295 South (towards Saint Augustine) signs to merge onto I-295 S. Take I-295 to I-10 Westbound. Take I-10 to US 301 Southbound. Obey all speed limits on US 301. You will pass through the town of Starke and several small towns. South of Starke the next town you will encounter is Waldo. Follow signs to Gainesville via State Road 24 (Waldo Road), which bears off to the right -- heading to Gainesville on a Southwesterly course. Turn right, westbound on NE 39th Ave. (State Rd. 222).
